This publication is a collection of photographs I’ve taken, as-well as archival family material.
This book aims to demonstrate the fragility of memory and the difficulty of truly knowing someone who I never met.
By collecting and examining my father’s personal belongings and visiting places of significance, I aim to construct a sense of his life and experiences. I attempt to construct a knowing of my late father.
By inviting the viewer to consider these objects and places, I aim to create a narrative of the ways in which we connect with loved ones past, and the role that objects and places can play in that connection.
Exhibited at the Dublin Art Book Fair 2023: Polyphonic in Temple Bar Gallery + Studios.
